JILL VERZINO
CO-FOUNDER, FARM MANAGER
Jill learned to grow food as a child from her Italian Grandparents’ in their expansive backyard vegetable garden in Waterbury. She began farming at Evergreen Berry Farm in 2013. She holds degrees in Visual Art and Environmental Policy from Fordham University. When not farming, you can find her cooking or in her studio working on large abstract paintings.
WILL O’MEARA
CO-FOUNDER, FARM MANAGER
Will has been farming in New England since 2011. He cut his teeth at Waldingfield Farm in Washington, CT, where he most recently served as Assistant Farm Manager from 2017-2019. He holds a degree in Sustainable Food and Farming from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where he helped co-manage the UMass Student Farm in 2016. He enjoys live music, boxing, and cooking recipes far more time consuming and messier than Jill.
